• Acting as a principal custodian of energy market models.
• Performing quantitative consulting tasks related to power and gas markets.
• Managing engagements involving utility resource plans and energy infrastructure.
• Supporting the development of industry-leading models.
• Developing presentations and reports for clients.
• Presenting findings to senior and mid-level staff.
• Overseeing junior staff in report production and analyses.

Requirements

• Background in operations research, economics, computer science, finance, or engineering.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in power and/or natural gas market modeling.
• Strong interest in power and gas market modeling.
• Excellent presentation skills and writing ability.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team and mentor junior staff.
• Previous project and client management experience required.
• Location flexibility in Boston or Washington DC.
