Overview

The Senior Security Engineer at Chainguard will design and deploy innovative technical controls, lead incident response efforts, and enhance cloud-native security, all while making a meaningful impact on the open source ecosystem.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in software development or security.
• Experience integrating threat intelligence into detection engineering.
• Experience securing cloud-native environments.
• Familiarity with macOS or Linux security controls.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with security frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST.
• Open source software or red-teaming experience is a plus.
