In Short

• Lead and grow Chainguard’s Product Security practice.
• Manage a team of product security engineers.
• Drive high-impact security initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams.
• Ensure security is integrated into the software development life cycle.
• Participate in security escalations and lead remediation efforts.
• Contribute to the security strategy and improve the secure software development life-cycle.
• Design and deliver internal processes and thought-leadership content.
• Stay current on emerging security threats and technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship.

Requirements

• Experience in implementing and leading DevSecOps initiatives.
• Experience with Agile development and incorporating security requirements.
• Experience managing secure code and software deployments.
• Extensive experience in secure code reviews and application security testing.
• 10+ years of software or security engineering experience.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor team members.
