Partnership Tax Flow Through - Consultant - Remote

Overview

This position involves the preparation and review of federal and state tax compliance for various entities, including private equity and venture capital firms, while also supporting clients in tax management and technology implementation.

In Short

• Preparation/review of tax compliance for private equity and venture capital.
• Prepare/review partnership income tax returns and K-1’s.
• Support client tax departments as an outsourced tax manager or analyst.
• Assist with project management and implementation of tax technology.
• Engage in tax restructuring and planning projects.
• Work directly with clients on-site as part of a tax team.
• Establish relationships with internal tax leaders.
• Mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in corporate or Big-4 public accounting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s in Taxation/CPA preferred.
• Experience with tax return preparation software.
• Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Self-starter with a flexible work approach.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Accountable for completing assignments independently.
• Capable of collaborating with diverse technical backgrounds.
