Overview

The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 supports Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation by dispensing Specialty Rx medications and performing various administrative and operational tasks.

In Short

• Support Pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing.
• Perform administrative and operational tasks.
• Handle inbound calls from patients and providers.
• Enter prescription orders into the system.
• Ensure adherence to Specialty Rx operational processes.
• Make decisions based on department policies.
• Work under minimal direction with some discretion.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to meet customer needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients and providers.
• Work remotely with occasional travel for training.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona.
• Certification by PTCB or ExCPT.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or call center experience.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Moderate knowledge of Excel.
• Working knowledge of RxNova, CRM, and/or ScriptMed preferred.
• Ability to use multiple computer applications simultaneously.
• Strong data entry skills.
