Overview

The Youth Advocacy Adviser will support implementing and achieving outcomes for the Youth Lead Organisations (YLOs) under the SHE SOARS project within the Africa Program, focusing on youth engagement and advocacy.

In Short

  • Support engagement of Youth in Kenya, Uganda, and Zambia.
  • Facilitate youth advocacy, research, and movement-building skills.

  • Support research initiatives for project priorities.
  • Participate in capacity support planning for partners.

Requirements

  • A first degree in social science or law with 8+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of international human rights and SRHR.
  • Experience in advocacy and youth engagements.
  • Proven track record in youth participation and advocacy.
  • Strong experience using digital platforms for youth engagement.
  • Experience working with young people to amplify their voices.
