Senior Network Engineer Contractor - Remote

Overview

The Senior Network Engineer – Contractor role is responsible for designing and building the TierPoint network. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate senior level expertise in multiple SME areas such as network routing, switching, firewall, network automation, and virtual environments.

• 8+ years of hands-on network/security experience required.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on network/security experience.
• Expert level understanding of core networking technologies.
• Experience with virtual environments, particularly NSX-T.
• Strong troubleshooting skills using packet capture/analysis tools.
• Experience with Python, Jinja, Ansible, Git.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• 6+ years of experience with network security technologies.
• Experience supporting large scale data center infrastructure environments preferred.
