Telemedicine Physician - Cardiology, Pulmonology, Nephrology - Remote

Overview

The Specialty Telemedicine Physician will work directly with patients together with a team of Cardiovascular Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Registered Dietitians, and other clinicians. The physician will be responsible for overseeing patient care by providing direct video/audio consultations and supervising the care provided by the non-physician clinical team.

In Short

• Provide video/audio visits with patients requiring expert intervention in the management of their chronic diseases.
• Supervise patient care delivered by non-physician clinicians through case review meetings.
• Support patients on all medical therapies utilized in the management of their chronic diseases.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree required.
• Active MD or DO license in Minnesota and/or Wisconsin.
• Board Certification.
• Active DEA license.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team.
• Strong computer skills.
• Expertise with supporting patients on diabetes therapies.
• Expertise with supporting patients on diabetes technologies.
• Proficient with EMR platforms and medical billing.
