Overview

The Configuration Manager oversees configuration management processes for CDW’s Managed Services organization, ensuring data integrity and alignment with ITIL best practices.

In Short

• Coordinate ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping for CI automation.
• Integrate CMDB data with IT systems like asset management and incident management.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.
• Maintain reports on process performance and improvements.
• Document SOPs and train staff on related processes.
• Ensure compliance of CMDB changes with policies.
• Drive automation initiatives to enhance data quality.
• Support the utilization of configuration management tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or 7 years of experience.
• Experience with change management and data quality standards.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and IT Asset Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• ITIL certification preferred.
• Ability to manage conflict and negotiate effectively.
• Experience in creating and presenting reports.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
