Senior Technical Artist - Remote

Overview

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Technical Artist to join the team working on The Witcher 4. You’ll be a key liaison between artists and world designers, driving the development of our in-house toolset and pushing our technology forward in collaboration with Epic Games and the Unreal Engine team.

In Short

• Create and maintain key shaders, including layered materials and gameplay-responsive visuals.
• Build tools and workflows that empower artists.
• Explore and implement new Unreal Engine features.
• Identify and resolve pipeline challenges.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a technical art role within game development.
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5.
• Experience with 3D content creation software.
• Tool development experience using C++ and/or Python.
• Strong cross-disciplinary collaboration and communication skills.
