Senior Technical Artist - Remote

Overview

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior Technical Artist to contribute to the research and development of in-house tools and processes within Unreal Engine 5 for their upcoming project, Project Orion.

In Short

• Collaborate with art directors, engineers, and artists to achieve creative and technical goals.
• Develop tools and processes for Unreal Engine 5.
• Research and integrate new features in Unreal Engine 5.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a technical art role in the games industry.
• Excellent knowledge of Unreal Engine 5.
• Experience developing tools for Unreal content creation.
• Familiarity with procedural content systems.
• Experience in tool development using C++ and/or Python.
• Strong understanding of content performance optimization.
• Experience with content creation software like Blender and Autodesk Maya.
• Creative and strategic thinking to overcome technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts.
