Overview

The Health Information Management (HIM) Assistant is responsible for managing and organizing health information in an electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring that all health records are accurately maintained and accessible for healthcare providers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; HIM certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic EHR or other EHR systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare documentation practices.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software.
