Senior Legal Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Legal Analyst works under the supervision of an attorney, performs all legal assistance and/or paralegal functions related to litigation and handles certain responsibilities in which the analyst exercises discretion and independent non-legal judgment with respect to matters of significance related to litigation.

In Short

• Gathers documents and factual information for legal issues.
• Drafts settlements, legal hold notices, and other legal documents.
• Prepares court filings and tracks status of matters.
• Acts as a liaison for efficient workflow in legal matters.
• Maintains understanding of legal department’s work.
• Manages subpoenas and small claims cases.
• Prepares and tracks legal holds and reports of claims.
• Requires a college degree or paralegal experience.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in a law department or firm.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing.

Requirements

• College degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in commercial real estate transactions.
• Knowledge of commercial real estate closing documents.
• Strong communication and multi-tasking skills.
• Attention to detail and resourcefulness.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; iManage preferred.
