Agency Loan Processor - Remote

Overview

The Agency Loan Processor is responsible for processing loan files and serving as the Single Point of Contact until the loan is closed and funded.

In Short

• Receive and process loan files from Loan Officers.
• Communicate with borrowers regarding document needs.
• Review title commitments, income, assets, and credit history.
• Gather loan documents from various parties.
• Prepare compliant loan files for underwriting.
• Ensure loan meets agency guidelines.
• Collaborate with Underwriters and Loan Officers.
• Coordinate with the Closing department to fund loans.
• Comply with federal and state laws.
• Assist with additional duties as required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of processing experience.
• Working knowledge of FHA required; USDA/VA experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and federal compliance laws.
• Experience with Automated Underwriting Engines (LP or DU).
• Experience in manufactured home loans and/or construction loans is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills with team members.
• Excellent listening, organizational, and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to think methodically and prioritize tasks.
