Mental Health Therapist - Remote

Overview

Join Cartwheel to help tackle the student mental health crisis by providing technology-enabled mental health services in collaboration with school staff.

In Short

• Provide mental health assessments and teletherapy to students.
• Collaborate with school counselors and other providers.
• Build relationships with school staff and families.
• Offer psychoeducation and support to parents.
• Participate in case consultations with team members.
• Help build clinical programming and the Care Team.
• Work 10-20 hours per week as a 1099 independent contractor.
• Must have an active license to deliver mental health care.
• Experience with telehealth and various therapeutic techniques is required.
• Flexible and remote work environment.

Requirements

• Passion for working with schools on mental health.
• Active mental health care license (e.g., LMHC, LCSW).
• Experience with CBT, DBT, ACT, and other therapies.
• Strong technological skills and reliable internet connection.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, especially after school.
• Fluency in other languages is a plus.
• Experience with parent guidance and shorter-term care models is a bonus.
