PHP Developer with Frontend UI Specialization - Remote

Overview

We are looking to strengthen our Alpha Online development team with a PHP Developer (m/f/d) with a strong Frontend UI specialization.

In Short

• Remote position for developers residing in Germany.
• Involvement in the adaptation and further development of our product portfolio.
• Development of new product areas and applications.
• Core product is the AlphaController, managing all processes in car dealerships.
• Stack includes PHP 8.*, MySQL 8, JavaScript, jQuery, and more.
• Workstations can be chosen independently.
• Support for Windows is provided.
• Tools include PhpStorm, Atlassian (Jira / Confluence), Git, and GitLab.

Requirements

• Several years of relevant professional experience in developing complex applications.
• Very good German (C1 minimum) and good English skills.
• Strong knowledge in software architecture and design patterns.
• Excellent knowledge in PHP 8, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Strong understanding of User Interfaces and User Experience.
• Proficient with Git, GitLab, IDE functions, Linux command line, and Composer.
• Good knowledge in JavaScript and PHPUnit.
• Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, OpenId, Bash scripts, Codeception, Selenium, and Jira is desirable.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and enjoyment of work.
