Telehealth Physician - Remote

Overview

As a Careway Physician, you will conduct brief, structured telehealth visits to establish care for our health advocacy programs, focusing on assessment and oversight rather than primary diagnosing or prescribing.

In Short

• Conduct initiating telehealth visits to understand patient challenges.
• Support seniors navigating complex health challenges and social barriers.
• Validate and oversee individualized care plans with Health Advocates.
• Document findings accurately in the Careway platform.
• Provide clinical leadership to advocates in complex patient cases.
• Collaborate with operations and technology teams to enhance care models.
• Must have an active California medical license.
• Requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
• Remote work but must be located in California.
• Flexible week-to-week availability.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. with an active, unrestricted California medical license.
• Willingness to acquire additional state medical licenses.
• Active PTAN/PECOS account for Medicare enrollment.
• Familiarity with Medicare programs and SDOH documentation.
• Comfort with new EHRs and AI tools.
• Exceptional listening and interpersonal skills.
