Venture Advisor (Equity position only) - Remote

Overview

The Venture Advisor will help launch and grow companies by providing guidance and expertise in the startup process, from hypothesis validation to fundraising.

In Short

• Act as an auxiliary to the firm to help launch and grow companies.
• Spend 5 - 8 hours a week during the co-building phase.
• Work with Builders and Partners to validate business hypotheses.
• Participate in the hiring process of the Founder in Residence (FIR).
• Coach and mentor the FIR throughout the startup journey.
• Help develop market-ready prototypes using low-code/no-code platforms.
• Identify viable go-to-market strategies and business models.
• Assist in finalizing investor-ready decks for fundraising.
• Act as an Executive Board Member post-launch.
• Secure outside funding within a year of pre-seed financing.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to start and grow companies.
• Experience in early-stage investments.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
• Ability to validate business ideas through customer feedback.
• Experience in recruiting and mentoring startup leadership.
• Familiarity with low-code/no-code development platforms.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Experience in fundraising and investor relations.
• Commitment to working part-time over an extended period.
