Video Editor - Remote

Overview

The Video Editor role at Care Access involves creating compelling stories and engaging content from video footage, working collaboratively with teams to ensure high-quality edits that communicate important messages in healthcare.

In Short

• Create compelling stories and engaging content from existing and new footage.
• Support the team by prepping projects, creating stringouts, and mastering.
• Edit long-form and short-form documentary style content.
• Edit short form pieces including interviews and social media content.
• Work with pre-production and production teams to ensure “shoot for edit”.
• Work with stakeholders for accuracy in final edits.
• Perform other related post-production tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of experience in post-production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
• Technical knowledge of Adobe’s post-production workflows.
• Ability to work with RAW 4k(+) footage.
• Experience in color correction.
• Solid understanding of video production process from concept to completion.
• Ability to translate high level creative concepts into edits.
• Flexibility to juggle multiple projects and adapt quickly.
• Strong communication skills and ability to apply feedback.
• Ability to animate basic graphics and work with AE templates.
