X-Ray Technologist - Urgent Care - Remote

Overview

The Radiologic Technologist (XRT) position is primarily responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist clinicians in the diagnosis of disease and injuries, working within a physician-founded organization focused on quality healthcare.

In Short

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties.
• Practice radiation protection techniques.
• Prepare images for reading by Radiologist.
• Attend staff and departmental meetings.
• Complete training for Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests.
• Assist with patient care and procedures.
• Manage front desk and perform receptionist duties.
• Work autonomously within established procedures.
• Demonstrate advanced expertise in healthcare.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical school.
• 3+ years in healthcare leadership experience.
• Current CRT certificate and ARRT registration.
• Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ years experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Great communication skills.
