DevOps DBA - Remote

Overview

This role involves managing infrastructure and collaborating with Snowflake users, reporting directly to the VP of Information Technology.

In Short

• Act as a subject matter expert for Snowflake.
• Assist teams in adapting processes for operational needs.
• Optimize data intake tasks for efficiency.
• Remediate production issues with urgency.
• Audit and support RBAC on the platform.
• Cross-train team members on Snowflake operations.
• Drive cost and performance optimization on Snowflake.
• Manage platform lifecycle with Analytics and Development teams.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team on integration touchpoints.
• Ensure adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a DevOps or similar role.
• 5+ years with Terraform.
• Current experience managing Snowflake.
• 3+ years supporting AWS or other Cloud environments.
• 3+ years DBA experience or extensive DB/query optimization experience.
• 3+ years using Python in a DevOps role.
• 2+ years experience with SQL.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Strong communication skills.
• Preference for experience in the healthcare industry.
