Overview

The Special Assets Portfolio Officer is responsible for managing a portfolio of high risk and non-performing/distressed loans, assisting with potential disposition and foreclosure of community development loans.

• Manage high risk and non-performing loans.
• Develop workout strategies to bring loans current.
• Lead borrower communications with empathy and professionalism.
• Evaluate borrower performance through financial analysis.
• Prepare and submit loan modifications and amendments.
• Maintain accurate loan servicing records.
• Ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
• Coordinate with co-lenders and financial partners.
• Support special projects and reporting as assigned.
• Travel up to 5% as necessary.
