Software Verification Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Software Verification Engineer with a strong background in cloud application verification and a passion for improving healthcare technology. In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web portals used in the medical industry. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test strategies that meet rigorous regulatory standards while supporting innovation and patient safety.

• Design and execute test cases for cloud-based web applications based on detailed requirements.
• Create and maintain traceability matrices to ensure full test coverage of all specifications.
• Develop test protocols aligned with approved test cases and regulatory standards.
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing of web applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using test management tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Update test documentation as requirements evolve and features are enhanced.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience testing software applications in the medical technology industry.
• Deep understanding of medical device software verification and regulatory compliance (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
• Experience testing cloud-native applications on platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent.
• Strong grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
