FBS Property & Casualty Actuary - Remote

Overview

As an FBS Property & Casualty Actuary, you will be responsible for pricing studies, competitor analysis, and trend analysis to evaluate and enhance the company's insurance products.

In Short

• Assist with pricing studies to evaluate profitability of insurance products
• Perform competitor analysis to stay updated on market developments
• Conduct trend analysis on insurance claims
• Collaborate with teams such as Underwriting, Product Management, and Sales
• Assist in developing rate-indication assumptions
• Aid in GLM modeling and rating methodologies
• Extract and manipulate data using databases and programming languages

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and produce quality results
• Self-starter with strong initiative and teamwork skills
• Experience in property & casualty and GLM modeling is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerBI, and Python
