Property & Casualty Adjuster - Remote

Overview

This role is responsible for the inspection and investigation of property damage losses of active insurance claims, requiring interaction with policy holders and various parties to resolve claims.

In Short

• Determine the scope and value of loss of a claim.
• Conduct field inspections and investigations of claims.
• Work in partnership with policy holders, contractors, public adjusters, lawyers, and insurance company.
• Communicate coverage and payment recommendations to the insurance company.
• Research and determine the cost of a project including completing an estimate of repairs.
• Report claim status to insurance company in a timely manner.

Requirements

• At least three years’ related experience required.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Xactimate preferred.
• Local travel required; valid Driver’s License required.
