Data Engineer for Insurance Carrier - Remote

Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer for Insurance Carrier.

In Short

• A data engineer role in the Specialty Data team should be able to analyze data from multiple source systems and design/model Data Marts based on business requirements.
• Strong data analytics and technical skills are a must.
• Ability to create data models, STTMs, and other technical documents.
• Strong communication skills and understanding of design requirements and existing business processes.
• Intermediate expertise in Data Vault 2.0 Modeling.
• Advanced expertise in SQL, writing complex SQL statements.
• Intermediate expertise in DBT, Python, and GitHub development.
• Advanced expertise in Snowflake database.
• Some knowledge of Mainframe, Mainframe SAS, and Distributed DB2.
• Hands-on experience with multiple cloud platforms including AWS and Azure is preferred.

Requirements

• Informatica development skills is a plus but not required.
