The Assistant Professor for the Master of Social Work program is a full-time faculty member responsible for delivering quality educational services, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development while adhering to Capella University's standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field required.
• Doctorate in Social Work or related area preferred.
• Two years of social work practice experience at the graduate level.
• Three or more years of teaching experience in an online setting.
• Experience mentoring doctoral students.
• Ability to develop and write curriculum.
• Strong commitment to diversity and cultural sensitivity.
• Experience with scholarly writing and presentations.
• Active participation in educational leadership organizations.
• Graduate Level Social Work License required.
