Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Specialist - Remote

Overview

As a member of the Capco Technology Delivery Team, you’ll bring practical knowledge of agile development methodologies and engineering best practices. You’ll play an integral role using your experience and skills to contribute to the quality and implementation of our projects.

In Short

• Design and implement SRE principles to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Automate operational processes and establish robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems.
• Provide strategic insights to ensure security compliance and risk mitigation in DevOps practices.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in IT Operations, leveraging ITIL best practices to optimize processes.
• Oversee CloudOps strategies, ensuring high availability and resilience of cloud-based systems.
• Optimize workflows and automate service delivery processes using ServiceNow capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years in IT operations, including CloudOps and SRE roles.
• Deep understanding of ITIL principles and their practical application.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across diverse teams.
• Willing to work hybrid/3 days per week in our NY office.
• Track record implementing and managing ServiceNow modules is a plus.
