• Define and lead the ML roadmap for Canva’s User Voice supergroup.
• Build production-ready NLP models focused on Agentic AI and LLMs.
• Create end-to-end ML pipelines for large-scale model training and deployment.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on strategic goals.
• Mentor engineers and enhance Canva’s AI capabilities.
• 5+ years of ML or software engineering experience required.
• Experience with large-scale NLP systems in production.
• Fluency in Python and familiarity with ML tools.
• Strong grasp of core computer science fundamentals.
• Experience in customer support or business process automation is a plus.

• Proven experience in shipping large-scale NLP systems.
• Proficient in Python and ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Knowledge of RAG architectures.
• Strong collaboration and mentoring skills.
• Ability to set strategic AI direction.
• Experience in customer support automation is a plus.
