Revenue Accounting Manager - Software Industry, IFRS 15, NetSuite - Remote

In Short

• Drive revenue recognition process, decisions, systems, and reporting.
• Build scalable contract review and revenue recognition processes.
• Collaborate with various teams including product management and sales operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of revenue accounting professionals.
• Ensure proper application of revenue accounting guidance.
• Assist in month-end revenue close and reconciliations.
• Research and write accounting memos on significant revenue recognition matters.
• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• Incorporate industry best practices for reporting speed and accuracy.
• Drive process improvements in NetSuite for revenue life cycle automation.

Requirements

• Professionally qualified accounting leader with expertise in IFRS 15/ASC 606.
• Experience in software licensing, subscription, and services revenue accounting.
• Leadership or management responsibility.
• Experience with ERP, Rev Rec, CRM, and CPQ software.
• Excellent technical accounting skills and IFRS experience.
• Ability to travel twice a year for company events.
• Professional written and spoken English.
• Experience in a multi-country, multi-currency environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and accountability.
• Detail-oriented with a personal drive to meet commitments.
