In Short

• Collaborate with a globally distributed team on kernel projects.
• Work closely with external silicon and cloud partners.
• Diagnose and resolve kernel issues reported by customers.
• Take responsibility for delivering Ubuntu Linux kernel flavors.
• Improve tooling and automation for kernel delivery and testing.
• Submit and review kernel patches with maintainers.

• Travel globally for company events twice a year.

Requirements

• Significant programming experience in C; Python or Golang is a plus.
• Experience with operating system kernel internals, preferably Linux.
• Solid background with git.
• Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred).
• Professional English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for company events.
