Senior Counsel: Sponsorships and Advertising Law - Remote

Overview

The Senior Counsel, Sponsorships and Advertising Law role is a contract position within the Personal Banking legal team at CIBC, focusing on mitigating legal risks and providing legal advice on sponsorship and advertising agreements.

• Provide legal advice on sponsorships and advertising laws.
• Draft and negotiate various sponsorship agreements.

Requirements

• Experience in providing legal judgment and advice on contracts.
• Significant experience at a bank or large organization.
• Familiarity with the Bank Act and Competition Act.
• Member in good standing of the Bar in Ontario.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
