Senior Utility Advisor - Remote

Overview

The Senior Utility Advisor will support CALSTART's mission by engaging with the utility industry and enhancing programs related to clean transportation and decarbonization.

In Short

• Lead and execute the National Utility Engagement Strategy.
• Research make-ready programs and relevant policies.
• Maintain relationships with utilities and CALSTART members.
• Identify leaders for webinars and organize working groups.
• Host meetings to update senior leadership on utility policies.
• Provide monthly utility reports on CALSTART-administered programs.
• Manage staff and oversee project duties.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in utilities and clean technology.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with California geography and utility territories.
• Experience in supervisory roles.
• Occasional travel within California may be required.
• Preferred residence in the Los Angeles/Pasadena area.
