Overview

The CNPS Vegetation Program is seeking two full-time positions for an Associate Ecologist and/or a Vegetation Data Specialist to support regional vegetation inventory and monitoring efforts across California.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in biology, botany, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience coordinating fieldwork.
Proficiency in GIS software such as ESRI ArcGIS.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Experience in vegetation sampling and ecological data analysis.
Valid driver’s license required for fieldwork.
Ability to work in varied field conditions.
Experience supervising staff preferred for the Data Specialist role.
