Overview

The Lead Resource Assessment and Planning Analyst is responsible for ensuring sufficient generation to maintain reliable service across California's power grid, contributing to long-term planning and resource adequacy metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics (Master's preferred).
  • Six or more years of related experience.
  • Experience in generation resource planning and transmission planning.
  • Understanding of electric power generation principles.
  • Project management experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Negotiation skills are desired.
