Environmental Health & Safety Compliance Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Safety / EH&S Compliance Specialist is responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with all company environmental, health, and safety policies as well as OSHA and other local, state, and federal employment statutes.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Conduct safety training and inspections.
• Assist with defining safety compliance standards.
• Provide data analysis of compliance and safety records.
• Conduct research on EH&S regulations.
• Coach team leaders on safety compliance.
• Conduct audits and reviews of safety practices.
• Assist with completion of key EH&S metrics.
• Monitor driver safety and background checks.
• Identify and mitigate hazards.

Requirements

• Must reside in California.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in safety or environmental support.
• Degree in Safety, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Understanding of Cal-OSHA and federal/state laws.
• Knowledge of virtual auditing and safety support.
• Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to document and improve processes.
