Overview

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations at the Fremont, OH facility.

In Short

• Administer Operational Risk Management processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Implement Kraft Heinz Safety Playbook and Safety Rules.
• Participate in audits and develop corrective actions.
• Drive ORM strategies to reduce operational risk.
• Communicate ORM results to management.
• Provide training on ORM practices.
• Facilitate Workers’ Compensation processes.
• Assist with injury and claim management.
• Supervise ORM staff and support process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety and Environmental Management or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in safety and environmental management.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT Regulations.
• Managerial or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement principles.
• Experience in the food manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Willingness to grow with the organization.
