Overview

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Calendly will design, build, maintain, and operate the next-generation infrastructure platform, empowering application engineering teams to achieve optimal performance and reliability.

In Short

• Design and maintain infrastructure platforms.
• Build tools and applications for infrastructure extension.
• Evaluate and deploy cloud native open source tools.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code for resilient infrastructure.
• Enhance observability and monitoring for infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotation for platform support.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on best practices.
• Mentor and share knowledge with team members.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Linux operating system.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and reliability practices.
• Proficiency in Golang or Python for API development.
• Knowledge of cloud networking technologies.
• Experience with monitoring tools, especially Datadog.
• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with internal customers to understand needs.
• Experience in designing highly-available production infrastructure.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
