Senior Frontend Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced frontend engineer who enjoys building and maintaining large-scale single page applications to support the increasing number of educators using Lexia’s products.

In Short

• Develop new views and reports for myLexia using Angular and Typescript.
• Contribute to the migration of the myLexia application from AngularJS to the latest version of Angular.
• Work closely with product and design teams to understand specifications.
• Participate in team development processes including standup, planning, and code review.
• Share technical expertise and mentor junior developers.
• 6+ years of professional experience required.
• Deep understanding of at least one JavaScript framework.
• Experience with modern build tools.
• Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements

• Strong command of Angular and/or Typescript.
• Experience working with frontend component libraries.
• Knowledge of component-based architecture.
• Experience with backend languages like PHP, Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL.
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
