Our client is a leading international contractor specializing in large-scale civil infrastructure and marine construction. They are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in immersed tunnel construction to oversee a major infrastructure project in Iraq.

In Short

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of a large-scale immersed tunnel project.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial forecasting.
• Oversee risk management, project scheduling, and problem-solving.
• Supervise the safe and precise immersion of tunnel elements.
• Serve as the main liaison between clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies and regulations.
• Implement best practices in marine construction and geotechnical engineering.
• Resolve project challenges and contractual disputes efficiently.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Required).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
• Extensive hands-on experience in immersed tunnel construction.
• Strong background in contract management and cost control.
• Deep understanding of immersed tunnel methodologies and hydrodynamics.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
