Android Engineer - Remote

Overview

At Cabify, we aim to improve mobility in cities by connecting riders to drivers through our app. We are looking for a skilled Android developer to join our Product & Engineering teams to enhance our mobile applications.

In Short

• Implement new functionalities for the Cabify app.
• Tackle complex problems related to asynchronicity and data flows.
• Deliver a robust and user-friendly app experience.
• Collaborate with Design, Research, Data Science, and Backend teams.
• Test app functionalities and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain mobile apps and assist in deploying new features.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Android experience.
• Experience with git.
• Experience with REST API interactions.
• Ability to write unit and UI tests.
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Previously published Google Play app.
• Experience with RxKotlin or other Reactive technologies.
• Familiarity with Kotlin, SOLID principles, and clean architecture is a bonus.
