Nurse Education Safety Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Nurse Education Safety Specialist is responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating educational activities for nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and clinical practice progression.

In Short

• Full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 0700 - 1730.
• Focus on staff development and educational activities in nursing.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Conduct educational needs assessments and develop training programs.
• Promote evidence-based educational methods for nursing expertise.
• Participate in strategic planning and implementation of nursing standards.
• Foster a culture of safety and quality within the organization.
• Assist in performance evaluations and staff scheduling.
• Requires active RN license in Massachusetts and at least 3 years of clinical nursing experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Education, or related healthcare field.
• Active RN license in Massachusetts.
• 3 years of clinical nursing experience with leadership experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of educational technologies and methods.
• Experience in teaching and process improvement preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and foster collaboration.
• Must be able to lift, bend, and stand as required.
• Current BLS instructor card preferred.
