International Clerk - Remote

Overview

The International Clerk position involves the preparation of export documents and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate shipments.

In Short

• Prepare commercial invoices and shipping instructions for export shipments.
• Coordinate with customs, brokers, and freight forwarders.
• Provide freight quotes for customers.
• Process shipments through FedEx, DHL, and UPS.
• Maintain reports of shipping activities with international carriers.
• Data entry and order processing using JDE and High Jump systems.
• Cross-train in other clerical duties within the department.
• Adhere to safety and documentation practices.
• Work flexible hours and maintain regular attendance.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in International Transportation or Distribution preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Experience with High Jump, JDE, and MFG-Pro desired.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a metrics-driven environment.
• Self-starter with initiative.
• Ability to work safely and follow established policies.
