Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial operations of our dynamic safari company, specializing in providing exceptional safari experiences to international clients.

In Short

• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare financial reports including profit and loss statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Develop and manage budgets.
• Ensure compliance with Kenyan tax regulations.
• Coordinate with Directors regarding financial inquiries.
• Implement internal controls and coordinate audits.
• Build relationships with suppliers.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel required.
• 5 years of experience in accounting preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or ACCA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws.
• Experience with international clients and multi-currency transactions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
