Senior UI/UX Designer - Remote

Overview

Join us as Senior UI/UX Designer! You will be working on Ascendant, our fast-paced squad-based FPS to be released on Steam. Joining at a critical time in development, as Senior UI/UX Designer you will have the chance to leave your mark on our wacky original title.

In Short

• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes and mockups for intuitive user experience.
• Understand the game’s audience to drive design decisions.
• Collaborate with Directors and Design team to enhance user experience.
• Design and critique tutorials, gameplay activities, and social features.
• Define a testing strategy for playtests and beta testing.
• Use analytics and community feedback to improve engagement.
• Work with the Economy team on ethical monetisation strategies.
• Assess user funnels and churn rates with Analytics team.
• Prioritise quality of life improvements based on community feedback.
• Work autonomously and manage multiple tasks.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in UX / UR / Game Design.
• Education in game design, web design, psychology or social sciences is a bonus.
• Understanding of player types and persona profiles.
• Knowledge of user-centred design and accessibility issues.
• Excellent communication skills for reports and presentations.
• Proficient in Adobe suite, Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects.
