Cloud DevOps Engineer (AWS, Rust, Python) - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer who is passionate about cloud security, automation, and building modern, scalable infrastructure. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and takes ownership of delivering secure, reliable systems on AWS using Terraform.

In Short

• Design, maintain, and enhance secure AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain internal tooling and automation scripts.
• Lead and optimise CI/CD pipelines, including deployment automation.
• Define and meet reliability and availability targets.
• Champion cloud security by enforcing best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high-quality software delivery.
• Write and maintain scripts in Python, Rust, and other languages.
• Support high-availability systems and disaster recovery testing.
• Identify opportunities for automation and improved documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
• Solid understanding of cloud security and identity management.
• Experience with Python and/or Rust.
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration tools.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset focused on automation.
