Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

You will work closely with both IT and Engineering teams to bridge system administration and code, playing a key role in deploying, monitoring, and managing our cloud-based applications and services.

In Short

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions.
• Provision, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Collaborate with the development team to optimise application performance.
• Manage databases performance, backup, scalability, and security.
• Secure applications and data for user authentication and authorisation.
• Ensure efficient management and troubleshooting of production issues.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal teams.
• Architect distributed applications on AWS.
• Demonstrated experience in DevOps or a similar role.

Requirements

• Significant experience in managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other high-level languages.
• Deep understanding of AWS network configuration and security best practices.
• Experience with serverless and microservices design patterns.
• Deep understanding of AWS/Cloud security concepts.
• Relevant industry certification (AWS Professional/Specialty, Cisco, ISC2).
