Staff Accountant II - SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant II of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting to join our growing team. This individual will primarily specialize in the preparation and documentation of stock-based compensation expense as well as become a key collaborator to the SEC Reporting team.

In Short

• Assist in the preparation and calculation of stock-based compensation expense for equity awards.
• Monitor the issuance, exercise, forfeiture, and cancellations of awards across the Company.
• Coordinate with the team for month-end procedures such as reconciliations and analytics.
• Create and post journal entries for month-end close.
• Assist in the quarterly and annual financial statement and other disclosure preparation and review.
• Other special projects and technical areas as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• 1+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Accounting certification (ACCA / CPA / CA / CECARR / or other) preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Proficiency with advanced Excel skills required, including VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables.
• Knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures.
• Critical thinker, detail-oriented, highly organized, results-oriented.
• Ability to meet tight timelines and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
