Senior Claims Specialist, Bodily Injury - Remote

In Short

• Assisting Branch members during the claims process.
• Investigating coverage, liability, and damages on auto & homeowners liability claims.
• Serving as a departmental technical resource/mentor.
• Drafting coverage letters to insureds.
• Keeping detailed documentation of claims inventory.
• Reviewing and evaluating bodily injury claims.
• Working closely with defense counsel on litigated matters.
• Proactively keeping all relevant parties informed of claim status.
• Maintaining necessary adjusters licenses.
• Willing to travel when required.

Requirements

• Five or more years of auto claims experience.
• Experience handling litigated claims.
• Deep understanding of auto coverage and endorsements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Insurance designation (AIC, SCLA, CPCU, etc.) is a plus.
• Adjuster license preferred.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience working remotely is preferred.
