Overview

A Customer Service Representative (CSR) acts as a liaison between a company and its customers. Their primary responsibility is to handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction through professional and effective communication.

In Short

  • Answer incoming phone calls, emails, chats, or messages from customers
  • Provide product or service information, resolve complaints, and troubleshoot issues
  • Process orders, returns, refunds, and account updates
  • Document customer interactions and maintain detailed records in CRM systems
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate departments
  • Follow up with customers to ensure resolution and satisfaction
  • Stay updated on company policies, products, and services

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Patience and empathy when dealing with customers
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Multitasking and time management skills
  • Proficiency in computers and customer service software (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce)
